1 About IQAC
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) — Manu Law College is committed to academic excellence and continuous quality improvement. In pursuance of the National Action Plan of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore, the college has established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure.
The primary aim of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC works towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance at Manu Law College.
Objectives
- To develop a mechanism for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance.
- To promote institutional functioning towards academic excellence through quality research and extension activities.
- To ensure timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic and administrative units.
- To act as a catalyst for quality enhancement and sustenance across all departments.
Functions
- Organisation of workshops, seminars and conferences on quality-related themes.
- Faculty Development Programmes (FDP) for continuous professional growth.
- Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.
- Documentation of programmes and activities leading to quality improvement.
- Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) for submission to NAAC.
- Coordination of the Self Study Report (SSR) for NAAC accreditation.
- Analysis of stakeholder feedback and implementation of action plans.
